Deadline reports Jonathan Bennett, Janel Parrish, Mark Ryder, Timothy Murphy, and Robert Clohessy will play in The Bog, a new horror film by director Myles Clohessy about “two couples” who “decide” to take an epic walk in the far Scottish Highlands to get away from it all, reconnect and stay at one of the secluded old cottages that dot the area.What begins as the time of their life – and much-needed couples seeking medical attention pull their back – quickly out of control for the group of friends in the isolated, horrible mountain area. There, they find themselves terrorized by unknown locals and, unaware, are subjected to a thousand-year-old mystical hunting ritual. ”

Deadline also reports the weekly magazine Weekly World News will “develop film, TV and podcast projects based on the company’s library of more than 110,000 articles and 300+ original characters” through a brand new production arm, Weekly World News Studios. The company’s first project is title The Zombie Wedding, a “horror comedy with music” about “a young couple from South Carolina” who “decide to go on their long-awaited wedding – during the Zombie Apocalypse! Unfortunately, he’s a zombie and she is not. Their families “People are nervous, but people prove to be judgmental. When the Zombies feel deprived of their brains, the ceremony takes a turn for the worse. WWN journalists are there to cover this wild marriage while they try to get out alive.” Tonya Pinkins has been added to Direct.

Halloween Kills / Halloween Ends

In a recent interview with Total Film Magazine (via Game radar), stated producer Malek Akkad Halloween Ends will be “much more contained” than the next Halloween Kills, so expect an end of cliff hanger.


Deadline reports Arrow’s Prometheus, Josh Segarra, has joined the cast of She-Hulk in a currently unknown role.

Legends of tomorrow
