The football showed respect on Friday at the funeral of former President Doug Ellis.

The fans ran around the stadium in front of the Aston Parish Church at 11 am and went to the funeral home via Sir Dit Ellis Stand.
The lead car had a small Aston Villa flag on the bonnet, followed by Ellis' famous blue-pale Royals Royce (registration edition AV1).
Former England captain, Bryan Robson, before returning from West Brom to Manchester United, returned to the Hawthorns as coach.
As part of the service order, former villa director Tony Hales and broadcaster Nick Owen paid homage to Alice, as did David Dein, former vice president of Arsenal and the Football Association.
Ellis wrote an article for charity in 2012, and her second wife, Heidi, and her three sons survived.
