The British newspaper “The Telegraph” published a news report in which it was reported that reports revealed that the American “Apple” company may add a new feature to its smartwatch in the future, that is the ability to control blood sugar levels.
According to the newspaper, the watch “Apple” could possibly control blood sugar through its partnership with the British company for health technology “Rockley Phoenix”, especially since “Apple” has been one of its major customers for the past two years.
According to reports, the company “Rockley” focuses on the production of sensors that monitor blood glucose, pressure and even alcohol level, indicating that at least one of these features will be available in the “Apple” watch in the future.
Apple’s support for diabetics has so far been limited to carrying external monitoring devices in their stores.
It is noteworthy that the new technology to control blood sugar with “Apple” watches, mentioned in the reports, does not require the use of needles.
