Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – The new art exhibition, the Düsseldorf Museum of Art, begins today with the second edition with more galleries. About 90 galleries from Germany and abroad offer contemporary art from 1945 to 2018 until Sunday. Exhibitors in the Böhler region include David Zwirner from New York, but all galleries in the area and Benelux countries.
Art Duesseldorf premiered last year as a competitor to the larger Art Cologne. Having 43,000 visitors at its inauguration, the Dusseldorf Fair has surpassed the organizers' expectations. But just before the second edition, the Swiss partner Swiss company MCH announced the exit. MCH also organizes the world's most important Art Fair Art Basel.
