In November last year, Gliha resigned from the position of selector of the young selected team of Slovenia. He got the chance in the national team of Kosovo. He first worked with the Kosovo Football Association as a consultant for the national team and the professional staff under the leadership of the Swiss Bernard Challandes, and now he will get the chance as a selector.

After three years, the Kosovo Football Association has ended its cooperation with the Swiss coach, who did not prove himself in the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup. Kosovo scored only four points and is the last in Group B, which also includes Sweden, Spain, Georgia and Greece included. Gliho will meet Greece in Athens (November 14) at the end of the qualifiers, and will also be on the bench of Kosovo in the home-friendly match with Jordan.

The Kosovo Football Federation is also looking to Germany for a new coach. It is no secret that we want the famous Felix Magath, but it is possible that the 54-year-old Primož Gliha will remain in the selection role if he meets the expectations of the association’s leadership.
