The Los Angeles Kings International Ice Hockey Club will have to sign a contract without injured goalkeeper Jack Campbell joining Jonathan Quick's unmanned medical team. A 22-year-old goalkeeper must undergo knee replacement surgery, whose length is estimated to range from 4 to 6 weeks.

CEO Rob Blake announced on the official website of "Kings". After two goalkeepers were injured, Peter Budaj moved to a Kings Slovák unit called Los Angeles on the 24-year-old Cala Petersen Ontario farm. This pair was initially active in the AHL competition, but due to a health problem with Quicka and Campbell, she moved on to the first team. Budaj hit in the current season in a single match in the NHL, catching 30 minutes in a duel against Ottawa Senators on October 13 and 11 striels collected one goal. His colleague Petersen has not started profiling yet.
The Los Angeles team is nowhere near the NHL. In the opening 16 games, the "King" only scored five and in the Western Conference they are the last 15. For the time being, the Kings played home games with Calgary Flames 0: 1.
