Spotify announced the first version of its streaming music application for Apple Watch, nearly two weeks after it was able to test Apple's limited version of the app on Tuesday (13). This version is part of Application Update 8.4.79 and will be automatically installed as soon as the user updates the app on the iPhone if Apple Watch already has the app auto-install enabled.
The only function of the current application is to act as a remote for the media played on the iPhone. However, in the next few weeks, features such as offline direct playback of the device are expected to be disabled. In particular, the current watchOS will automatically synchronize the device's audio files
Another problem with this application is that it is not customized to the new screen size introduced by the Apple Watch Series 4, so the search may sound strange. News is good news, but unless Spotify tunes your app in the coming months, Apple Music is still the best option for viewers who still want to listen to music.
