If you are looking for an eSIM-based advantage, you can have what GigSky wants.
GigSky, which offers paid cellular data plans in more than 190 countries around the world, today announced eSIM support for iPhone XS, XS Max and XR.
The company 's plan is available on Apple' s new device through the latest version of the updated GigSky World Mobile Data application on Tuesday.
Users can download apps to iPhone XR, iPhone XS, or iPhone XS Max handsets running iOS 12.1 or later to add GigSky data plans. GigSky says the embedded data connection will enable eSIM with a cellular data-only plan that does not require the purchase of a GigSky physical SIM card.
The scope of this plan is 300MB to 5GB and can take from 1 to 30 days. Pricing for specific regions in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean starts at $ 10 for 300 MB of data. Other countries not included in this regional plan have different pricing and data limits.
In the recent iOS 12.1 update, Apple implemented eSIM support, but it is not currently supported by US carriers. Verizon, AT & T and T-Mobile are working to implement support later this year.
eSIM functionality is currently supported by a variety of international carriers and their list is linked below.
