Ateneo-Motolite quickly recovered from a previous frustration with Sunday's 25-23, 16-25, 25-14, 25-20 victory over Adamson-Akari and made it to the semi-finals at the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) open conference. The arena of San Juan city.

Creamline strengthened the semi-campaign by enduring the tough Pocari Sweat-Air Force, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20, 22-25, 15-9 at the Ibalong Center for Recreation in Legazpi City of Albay.

Alyssa Valdez poured in 19 points, adding 18 points and 16 points to Jama Galanza and Michele Gumabao's Cool Smashers, the eighth winner in 10 games.

The Pocari-Air Force fell from 5 to 6 points despite Myla Pablo's 22 points.
