EsSalud Vaccination plan on age and schedules I put my shoulder



The current government has drafted a schedule for the vaccination against COVID-19 until the end of the year according to age group. This plan will be provided to the next administration and will serve as a guide to continue the immunization process in the country, said the Minister of Health, Oscar Ugarte,

The head of the Minsa indicated that programming, presented this afternoon at a press conference, is projected based on the availability of doses available for Peru.

The Minister Oscar Ugarte reported that adolescents aged 12 to 17 years are already included in the National vaccination plan, This age group consists of 3,100,000 children.

With this incorporation, the target population increases to 27,400,000 people throughout the territory.

In view of the new goal for the vaccination of the population, the Minister presented the schedule on age range, “part of which has already been met” with adults over 40 years and older.

“In July it started with people aged 40 to 49 years, we calculate that this should be completed between August and September. In August vaccination 30 to 39 years and can expire in October, ”he explained.

Meanwhile, he specified that the population between 20 and 29 years old “can start in September and should end in November,” while adolescents between 12 and 19 years old can be immunized “in October and end in December.”
