Diabetes cases in minors are increasing nationwide.

Minor 's diabetes increased exponentially across the country due to bad habits, said Carlos Del Azula Children' s Hospital Endocrine Services Director, Diabetes Day.

"There were two cases per year in the 90s, and 35 cases in the first quarter," a National Radio expert explained.

In this regard, he encouraged parents to help improve their children's lifestyle.

"It is important to have healthy meals and physical activity and to respect sleep time." In pediatric screenings, a pediatrician can detect when a child becomes obese and prevents disease.

At the Niño de Breña Hospital, a diabetes screening campaign was conducted free of charge. Results were delivered immediately.
