The children in Norwegian preschoolers only heir good support in emotional and behavioral development, according to new research.
The children also slow down "relatively small carrying surface in learning and language", the report presented by professors May Britt Drugli and Turid Suzana Berg-Nielsen.
– In addition, we have just decided that by definition, we have the best kindergarten in Norway, that it is so good. Unfortunately it is not. It's medium, says Drugli after Dagsavisen.

The findings confirm that some of the GoBaN survey, the largest so far on the condition of Norwegian kindergartens, writes the newspaper.

In one of the articles summarizing the GoBaN, researchers will conclude that mid-level and high-level playgroups are about basic interaction skills. At the more learning-oriented interaction, the average score was "not enough".
