According to the car guide, the interior of the CX-5 Signature is decorated with high-quality materials including Cocoa Brown's nappa leather seats and Abachi trim sign. Signature versions include a 7-inch digital display for drivers, open and ventilated front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, a heated steering wheel, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, a head-up display and an electric folding mirror.
Under the hood, the CX-5 signature will feature a turbocharged SKYACTIV-2.5T four-cylinder engine. It develops 227 horsepower with normal petrol and 250 horsepower. Revision of G-Vectoring Control Plus, Mazda's running dynamics software, is also included.
However, other variants of the CX-5 that continue to use the SKYACTIV-G engine have not been described in detail. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission produces 156 horsepower while the other version of the 2.5-liter engine with the exception of signature produces 187 horsepower. And when the CX-5 was redesigned for the 2017 vintage, Mazda is waiting for the promised diesel engine.
The price of the 2017 Mazda CX-5 will be announced later.
