Eurovision Asia is actually heading for the Gold Coast?

[ad_1]

Eurovision Asia has long been on the verge of reaching consensus among 10 other Asian nations, not on political issues.

It was in March 2016 that Eurovision's European Broadcasting Union (EBU) signed a contract with SBS to produce a regional version of the European regional competition.

SBS and its production partner, Blink TV, were about to be founded, and the original idea was to make Sydney the first host city before staging Sydney in other cities in the region.

Broadcasters from India, China and South Korea have announced their interest and test plans to debut this contest in 2017 … 2018.

Today's latest pension program, the Gold Coast has it, and it will be held at the end of 2019.

This is from the report of 9NEWS Queensland, and I found a document issued by the Gold Coast City Council.

This phase will run from November 30 to December 7, 2019 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Center.

"High profile artist" from 16 Asia-Pacific countries including "arrival of red carpet", "meeting with the press", "3 hour live grand finale"

Among the participating countries are China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, India, Korea, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.

Interested people were Kazakhstan, Maldives, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands.

The full list will be finalized in May.

But SBS dismissed speculation.

"Eurovision Asia is still under development, and we continue to have a lot of debate to bring it to life at this event, but nothing has been confirmed at this stage yet."

The Gold Coast will host an Australian decision in February to select the country's leading artists from Australian songs and artists' Eurovision Israel.

The Gold Coast Council wants all the houses in Eurovision and wants to be able to host it every four years for the next 12 years in the Council Report.

We have already designated a new HOTA arts zone called Eurovision Asia Village.

"Eurovision Asia is huge." Gold Coast Market Tom Tate "There is a possibility of reaching more than 200 million people," he said.
