Mortgage delinquents face enormous challenges and obstacles when interacting with banks, eagle funds and legal systems.

It is one of the results of a new survey looking at the personal experience of those at risk of mortgage distress or loss of home.

CAN (Community Action Network) says that many people are still too embarrassed to admit it.

A spokesman for Cecilia Forrestal says these people are the hardest. "The most surprising thing we find is that people find themselves because they are silent because of their shame, stigma, failure, and helplessness," he says.
