In a post on instagram is the Spyros Papadopoulos announced the end of the show “Cheers” after 17 full years.
At the end of his post, the presenter mentioned the artists who were fired because he could not host his show. This is the Charoula Alexiou, Active members, Tolis Voskopoulos, Phoebus Delivoria, de Matoula Zamani, ton Alkinoo Ioannidis, de Marinella, Giannis Markopoulos, Municipality of Moutsη, τον Stavros Xarchakos and Nikos Xydakis.
In detail what he wrote: “It was the summer of 2004, when Vicky Laskari – a TV producer – called me and suggested a 3-hour entertainment program on ERT. I told her that if I did anything, it would be for the Greek song I know and love. And so we began with the first tribute to the beloved Manos Eleftheriou. It seems to me yesterday. But 17 years are over! And I feel like this ship that has been traveling us all these years – and where it did not go! – it’s time to … apply!
For no matter how good and durable a hull is, in the end the sea always wins! In short, my dear “Greeks everywhere”, I think it’s the right time for “STIN HYGIA MAS RE PAIDIA” to go down in history. I hope not in oblivion!
My heartfelt thanks to all the singers, musicians, dancers, guests, mechanics, collaborators who together made so many fun things and of course a special THANK YOU to my dear Vicky!
This and I stay because I can not share!
We will not get lost!
Υ.Γ. I do not know why, but I want to share my devotion to artists I love and that for some reason we did not do a show with them …. Charoula Alexiou, Active members, Tolis Voskopoulos, Phoivos Delivorias, Matoula Zamanis, Alkinoo Ioannidis, Marinella, Giannis Markopoulos, Dimos Moutsis, Stavros Xarchakos and Nikos Xydakis!».
