Volkswagen and Chinese joint venture FAW-Volkswagen Automotive have signed a multi-billion dollar cooperation agreement.
Next year, about 9 billion dollars will be imported to the People's Republic of China through FAW vehicle and parts joint venture of China Automotive Group.
The agreement was signed at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai on Tuesday, Volkswagen said.
For the VW brand, China, like many Western manufacturers, is a much larger single market.
