Happy birthday, Prince Charles!

The royal family is 70 years old on Wednesday and the festival has already begun.

The prince celebrates his birthday and he is still planning to:

The prince's special anniversary began on Tuesday with a new family portrait. On Wednesday, Charles received a "heartfelt dedication" from the Wales Guard band through a "Happy Birthday" held in the front yard of Buckingham Palace.

Charles also has to drink tea with people who turn 70 on Wednesday. He will be attending the Buckingham Palace party thrown by his mother Queen Elizabeth II.

The prince shared his environmentalist views on the latest edition of the Country Life magazine, which calls for "let our grandchildren want and think ahead of what they need," rather than taking the naturalistic world Wednesday.
