Minister of Environment discusses cooperation with Kenya Cabinet Minister



Dr. Yasmin Fouad, Minister of the Environment, met with the Deputy Minister of the Kenyan Environment Minister to unify the common vision of the environmental vision field and discuss ways to cooperate in the presence of ambassador Kenya in Cairo.

During the meeting, the two countries agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the field of dry land management and maintenance and restoration of the water tower flowing into Lake Victoria from the Nile River Basin.

Dr. Fouad Yasmin also invited many Kenyan experts to visit Egypt in the first quarter of 2019 to benefit from the Egyptian experience in the field of desertification, water quality and marine pollution within the framework of the Egyptian African brother embrace .

At the 14th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, the African Summit was held, which ended with the adoption of African biodiversity priorities for the unification of Africa's vision, the Declaration of the African Ministers on the restoration of African ecosystems and the presentation of the Conference of the Parties.
