Obese children have 30% more risk of asthma

The work, which was recently published in the magazine Pediatrics, found several associations between the two diseases. On one hand, the participants are classified as obesity, that is, with a high body index (BMI) for their age and sex, 30% probably asthma developed as their peers with a healthy weight.
