British Columbia Lions announced on Wednesday that they have signed a contract with the nationwide Line Bad Jordan Hurd Bay to extend the contract through the 2020 season.
Herdman finished with 56 tackles and 2 sacks in 18 games for defense after taking over the injured Solomon Elimimian's midline linebacker mission. He added 17 tackles to the special team.
"Jordan is an athletic and talented linebacker of last season and has the ability to play at a very high standard," GM Ed Hervey said in a press release. "There is no bigger asset in the league than an elite Canadian," he said.
Simon Fraser's product has played two seasons of CFL career with Lions after BC chose him in the seventh round of 2017.
