In Congo, 201 people have died as a result of the disease since Ebola was onset about two months ago. So far, Ebola virus has been identified as 291, the Congo Health Ministry said on Saturday night. Over 28,000 people have been immunized against the disease.
The recent outbreak of dangerous hemorrhagic fever focuses on the town of Beni in the North Kibo region and the surrounding area. Several militia and rebel groups are active, making it difficult for helpers to visit, isolate and contact their relatives quickly. There is also resistance to immunization – characterized by deep distrust of government resistance.
Ebola virus is one of the most dangerous pathogens in the world that causes fever and frequent internal bleeding. The epidemic of 2014 and 2015 killed over 11,000 people in Africa. Infected people can easily transmit viruses. (ANF / SDA)
