Shark movement studies in the Whimsundays (instead of drum strain)

To prevent further attacks, a $ 250,000 study will be conducted to identify patterns of shark movement in Queensland.

Over the last two months, the Cid Harbor sharks of the Whitsundays have attacked three people.

It included a Victorian doctor, Daniel Christidis, who died on Monday during yacht vacations.

Today at Whitsundays, brains of 22 ministers, scientists, tour operators and local government members gathered to discuss solutions to the harm of shark attack.

However, they excluded the formally seduced drum line despite the visitors' demands.

A few days ago, a family told me that if I did not come in and put in a drum line, I would not be here for family vacation, "local member Jason Costigan said.

The Queensland government ruled out the drum line because it could give the swimmers a false sense of relief.
