Frances Tiafoe has paid tribute to LeBron James throughout the Australian Open and hopes his new-found popularity will help him meet with the NBA superstar.
We used one of James' iconic celebrations after every win and caught the attention of James after ESPN posted on video on Instagram.
James commented on the post, much to the delight – and shock – of American tennis's newest star.

But while Tiafoe hopes his new-found fame will help him meet with the LA Lakers star, revealed rumors James had texted him were false.
"No, if he texted me I wouldn't be here right now," Tiafoe joked. "I'd be FaceTime-ing him, if he had my number.
"Yeah, just the Instagram comment." The silencer, "that's all he said. That's it."
Tiafoe hopes he'll soon get his meeting.
"Man, forget about the slam. I thought once I had the celebration the first couple times, I thought I was going to get a meeting with him," Tiafoe said.
"I would love to meet him one day. That would mean the world to me.
"I think just kind of talk, pick his brain, see everything he's accomplished on and off court, to be just half the guy he was would be unbelievable.
"I look up to him with everything. He's a true role model."
